What We Do
We provide hot meals, essential care packages, and street-level support to women facing homelessness, housing insecurity, and trauma in Memphis. Through consistent outreach and unconditional love, we meet women right where they are to help them survive with dignity.
Every week in Memphis, women are fighting to survive—often alone, often unseen.
The Love Project shows up for them.
The Love Project is a volunteer-led outreach group serving women across Memphis who are facing homelessness, housing insecurity, hunger, exploitation, and trauma. With no paid staff and no outside funding, volunteers go directly to the streets every week to deliver the essentials women need to stay safe: feminine hygiene products, toiletries, hot meals, snacks, bus passes, pepper spray, coats, shoes, first-aid supplies, and more.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to help women survive with dignity—and to meet every woman with love, not judgment. No requirements. No expectations. Just care.
Over the last two years, The Love Project has had thousands of interactions with women across Memphis, offering critical support in moments when it’s needed most.
The need continues to grow—and The Love Project is committed to showing up, week after week, for every woman who needs them.
