We meet women exactly where they are — on the streets, in tents, in cars, in unstable housing — The Love Project shows up every Thursday on Summer Ave – rain, snow, ice, or blistering heat — providing essentials for survival: hot meals, toiletries, feminine supplies, snacks, pepper spray, bus passes, and more.
Our Mission
The Love Project empowers women in Memphis by fostering community, support, and connection. Through resources and outreach, we aim to uplift and inspire women, ensuring they feel valued and seen in their journey towards personal growth.
What Makes Us Different
At The Love Project, we provide more than material assistance—we provide connection, compassion, and hope. Our work is rooted in the belief that love has the power to heal even the deepest wounds. And unlike many organizations, we offer our support with no strings attached. There are no prerequisites or conditions—just an open heart and a helping hand.
Our Goals
Immediate Support:
Deliver life-saving essentials such as hygiene products, clothing, and food to women in need.
Empowerment:
Walk alongside women as they access services such as healthcare, housing, mental health care and more. No hand-offs and "good lucks". Support for the long term.
Community Building:
Create a network of love and solidarity that ensures no one faces life’s challenges alone.
Inspiration & Advocacy:
Raise awareness and inspire others to take action, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
